Night Sun performs original songs with acoustic music inspired by traditions of Celtic, Cajun, Bluegrass and Klezmer. After forming in Iqaluit in 1991, Ellen (singer-songwriter) and Chris (multi-instrumentalist) moved ‘south’ to Kingston, Ontario in 1994 and reformed the band which toured across North America for over 20 years, winning songwriting awards and described by Billboard Magazine in 1997 as one of the Canada’s best folk bands. Following a brief hiatus of 25 years to recharge, the band is invigorated and ready to go! Don’t wait another quarter of a century to see them!
