Located in a historic farmhouse overlooking Loughborough Lake, 20 minutes north of Kingston, the Leopard Frog studio experience includes state of the art recording equipment, overnight accommodations and catering, a 19th century barn and lush woodlands, making it a beautiful place to settle in with your music and be inspired.

The studio features a selection of quality microphones, pre-amplifiers, outboard processors, converters and monitors, plus an extensive collection of plug-ins and audio software.

Remote recording equipment allows for recording bands, concerts and theatrical productions on location, plus sound recording equipment for film shoots.

Guitars, basses, other stringed instruments and keyboards are available for recording musicians visiting the studio.

Owner Chris Coleman, Masters of Music, is a multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer, music producer and composer. He has been working in the music industry for 35 years and has produced over 100 albums.

Chris is also owner of Nuvu Music in Iqaluit and has been a primary producer for Nunavut artists for over 20 years.

Leopard Frog

We acknowledge that Leopard Frog farm is situated in the home of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee and we thank the Indigenous people who loved and lived here for being the guardians of the land and water.
